The following is a new JNBY fans journal, that leads you to this brand discussion.
During a day trip to Shenzhen, I ducked into a department store to seek refuge in air conditioning. It was there that I discovered JNBY, a brand that hails from Hangzhou, China. I was drawn to the boutique because the style was very different from the other boutiques in the department store. At first glance, the clothes seemed relatively simple, but upon closer inspection I could see the uniqueness of the cutting.
After trying on a few pieces where the salesgirls (dressed in awesome uniforms) fawned over me (I felt like a model with two stylists), I ended up leaving with a copy of the lookbook (seen in this post) and a dress (which will be posted later).
JNBY has one store in Canada — in Vancouver to be exact. Hopefully one day they’ll migrate east.
